Course Overview
The Dermaplaning Course is designed for beauty and skincare professionals who want to expand their expertise in advanced exfoliation treatments. Dermaplaning is a non-invasive procedure that uses a specialized sterile blade to gently remove dead skin cells and fine vellus hair (commonly known as peach fuzz) from the surface of the skin, resulting in a smoother, brighter, and more youthful appearance.
Throughout this course, students will gain a comprehensive understanding of skin anatomy, treatment indications, contraindications, and professional safety standards. The training includes client consultation, skin analysis, treatment preparation, proper blade handling, dermaplaning techniques, and post-treatment care.
Students will learn how dermaplaning can enhance skin texture, improve product absorption, create a flawless makeup application surface, and reduce the appearance of fine lines and mild acne scarring. Emphasis is placed on delivering safe, effective, and customized treatments while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and client comfort.
Upon successful completion, graduates will have the skills and confidence to perform professional dermaplaning services in spas, skincare clinics, beauty salons, medical aesthetic practices, or as independent skincare professionals.
